Parrillan (pronounced: parri-Yan) is taken from the Spanish word, ‘parrilla,’ meaning grill. Our two restaurants, Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross and Borough Yards in London Bridge, celebrate sociable Spanish cooking over fire.

Parrillan serves Spanish para picar, arroces, and a choice of beautiful meat, seafood and vegetables to be cooked by guests on their own mini parrillas, on the terraces. At Borough Yards, if sitting inside, our chefs will cook these for guests over large live-fire grills.

At each location, we offer a list of largely Spanish wines, sherries and Cavas by the glass and bottle. There are also Gin and Tonic menus and cocktails by the glass and carafe.

Festive Specials to Pre-order at Parrillan Borough Yards

We’re offering two exceptional sharing dishes exclusively for the festive season. Pre-order either dish for your reservation with 48 hours’ notice.

 

Cochinillo

A Spanish celebration classic. Whole suckling pig slow-roasted until the meat is yieldingly tender, then finished at high heat in the wood-fired oven for crisp, golden crackling. £290, serves 8 to 10.

Pierna de Cordero

Lamb leg with Mediterranean herbs, garlic, and oloroso sherry, slow-roasted until it falls off the bone, then glazed with its own juices. Rustic, traditional and deeply flavourful. £80, serves 3 to 4.
